Scheduling Paralegal

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a professional services organization to identify a Scheduling Paralegal in Dallas, TX. This role is fully onsite for the first 90 days before transitioning to a hybrid schedule and will support attorney scheduling, litigation coordination, and case management activities in a fast-paced legal environment.


This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented legal professional with early plaintiff litigation experience who enjoys keeping cases on track, managing complex calendars, and serving as a key partner to attorneys throughout the litigation process.


Required:

  • 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant
  • Experience coordinating hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and attorney calendars
  • Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, court procedures, and case progression
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook, and legal case management software


Preferred:

  • Experience supporting high-volume litigation practices with 75+ active cases
  • Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management platforms
  • Experience drafting scheduling-related legal documents and client correspondence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Interest in advancing into a Litigation Paralegal role as part of long-term career growth
