NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a law firm in Dallas, TX, to find an experienced Finance Associate. The Associate will support the Partners in complex, structured, and real estate finance transactions. 

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex structured and real estate finance transactions, including repo lines, note sales, asset-backed (AB) facilities, note-on-note facilities, and mezzanine loans.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, coordinate diligence, and manage deal execution through closing.
• Collaborate with partners, clients, and opposing counsel while handling multiple high-value matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in structured finance, commercial finance, or real estate finance within a law firm setting.
• Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
