Controller. Small Company Construction Industry Controller. Hybrid! NextStep Recruiting is working with a $25 million revenue construction organization in Dallas that is looking to hire a hands-on Controller to take over the general ledger month-end close process, the project accounting/job costing, and the sales tax work. Candidates should have the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience in the construction industry or project accounting roles
• Strong experience with job costing, billing, and construction industry sales tax, in addition to strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Strong communication skills to work with internal stakeholders on project communication, as well as external clients
