Payroll Administrator - Canada

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading organization headquartered in Dallas to find a Payroll Administrator. The ideal candidate will lead payroll operations for Canadian locations in Ontario and Manitoba. A successful candidate will bring proven Canadian payroll compliance expertise and a strong UKG Pro (UltiPro) command, ensuring payroll accuracy and integrity across multiple locations.


Required:

  • 2+ years of Canadian payroll experience, specifically in Ontario and Manitoba
  • Hands-on experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation)
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and provincial standards
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) certification


Preferred:

  • Experience working in a multi-location environment
  • Prior collaboration with HR and Accounting for payroll processing
  • Familiarity with UKG time and attendance integrations
