NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing personal injury law firm to find a Corporate Paralegal. An ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of in-house corporate paralegal experience, especially supporting a General Counsel, and be skilled in litigation support, transactional work, and compliance. This newly created role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and play a key part in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 5+ years of in-house corporate paralegal experience, specifically supporting a General Counsel
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including preparation of pleadings, discovery responses, and legal documentation
  • Experience drafting procurement contracts and NDAs using templates
  • Multi-entity experience
  • Familiarity with depositions and transactional work related to litigation
  • Exceptional time management, written and verbal communication skills, and professional demeanor
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment


Preferred:

  • Experience in personal injury, employment law, or intellectual property
  • Familiarity with legal compliance, internal controls, or working alongside finance/accounting teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt quickly and remain composed in a dynamic work environment
  • Interest in understanding business operations and contributing proactively
