NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a client in North Dallas, TX! Our client is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager with an emphasis in Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to join their team.  

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end AP and AR operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, collections, and cash application.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities related to AP and AR, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Assist with ERP implementation and improve manual processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with direct oversight of AP and AR functions.
• 3+ years of people management experience in a corporate or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting systems (ERP experience required).
• Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
