Operations Optimization Manager
NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a financial services organization to identify an Operations Optimization Manager in Dallas, TX. This role is hybrid and will lead process improvement, workflow automation, systems integration, and operational transformation initiatives within a regulated financial services environment.
This position is ideal for an operations leader who combines deep financial services knowledge with strong technology and process improvement capabilities. The right candidate can identify inefficient workflows, translate business needs into practical solutions, and lead teams through automation, system conversions, and other complex operational initiatives.
Required:
- Financial services experience with strong knowledge of brokerage, securities, or financial operations
- Leadership experience managing teams and driving operational improvement initiatives
- Experience identifying manual processes and implementing workflow automation, system integration, or technology-driven solutions
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience developing operational reporting or dashboards
- Experience supporting complex projects such as system conversions, client migrations, data mapping, testing, or platform implementations
Preferred:
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, AI-enabled automation, or similar technology platforms
- Strong understanding of securities processing and regulated financial operations
- Experience partnering across Operations, Technology, Compliance, and business leadership
- Series 7 and 24 licenses or ability to obtain required licensing
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
