NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a Dallas-based financial services client to hire a Senior Risk Advisory Analyst. This role supports the enterprise risk management program with a focus on operational, legal, compliance, and strategic risks. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support enterprise risk assessments and root cause analyses
• Monitor key risk and performance indicators (KRIs, KPIs, EWIs)
• Conduct vendor risk evaluations and assess risks tied to new products/services
• Compile executive-level dashboards and reports for senior leadership and the Board
• Partner with departments including IT, Compliance, Legal, and Business Continuity
• Promote a risk-aware culture through education and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, or financial services
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI or risk platforms a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
