Manufacturing Industry Controller. Remote-based with 20% travel! NextStep Recruiting is recruiting for a large, private equity-owned manufacturer that is hiring an experienced Controller to manage multiple Plant Controllers and manufacturing sites. Candidates should have the following experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. An advanced degree and/or certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with most of that experience being in manufacturing
• Experience managing the cost accounting, close process, financial reporting, labor costs, etc., for multiple manufacturing plant sites
• Proven ability to manage and develop Plant Controllers and Accountants
• Strong ERP systems experience and strong Excel skills
• Excellent leadership skills
