NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading national provider in petroleum fueling and EV charging solutions to find a Director of Total Rewards. An ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in compensation and benefits strategy, with proven experience supporting organizations through rapid growth and transformation in a multi-state environment. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Texas.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Compensation and Benefits roles
  • Expertise in administering 401(k), medical, dental, and vision benefits, including self-funded and fully insured plans
  • Proven ability to interpret data and use metrics to drive decisions and strategic improvements
  • Experience working in multi-state environments with compliance across ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other regulations


Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Certifications such as CCP, CBP, CEBS, or CEP
  • Experience in high-growth companies with M&A integration
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance or related industries
