NextStep Recruiting is partnered with a leading legal services organization in Dallas seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments. This highly visible role will oversee a small team and drive short-cycle projects that improve efficiency, client experience, and overall operational performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a small team of Process Analysts.
• Execute hands-on improvement projects in sprints, from discovery to implementation.
• Facilitate process mapping sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to identify and eliminate friction points.
• Use data and metrics to assess process performance and report on post-implementation impact.
• Partner with technology teams to streamline workflows and recommend automation opportunities.
• Create clear documentation, SOPs, and change management plans to ensure lasting adoption.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 5+ years of process improvement or operations experience; prior leadership preferred.
• Experience leading measurable short-cycle improvement projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with proven success in influencing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher strongly preferred).
• Background in professional services or legal operations is a plus.
