NextStep Recruiting has partnered with an innovative technology company based in Fort Worth, Texas, that specializes in digital analytics solutions for the energy sector to find an Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader with strong technical expertise who can manage the full monthly close cycle, maintain internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple revenue streams. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates cross-functionally, and supports scalable accounting processes aligned with company growth.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of close processes and financial reporting
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining audit readiness
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Prior experience in Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Controller-level responsibilities
• Experience working in software, multi-revenue stream, or complex accounting environments
• Experience with SAP and/or Microsoft Business Central

Preferred:

• Experience in Oil & Gas or SaaS industry environments
• Experience improving accounting workflows and reporting processes
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance leadership and operational teams
