NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a restaurant and hospitality organization to identify a Senior Construction Project Manager in the South Florida area. This role is heavily travel-based with frequent onsite presence supporting new location development and restaurant openings.

This position is ideal for a construction leader with strong Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site development environments. The right candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and capable of managing projects from pre-construction through final turnover.

Required:

• Strong construction project management experience within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry
• Experience managing new restaurant openings, remodels, or multi-site retail development projects
• Ability to oversee contractors, vendors, permits, inspections, and construction timelines
• Strong understanding of budgeting, change orders, project scheduling, and construction administration
• Experience coordinating cross-functionally with operations, real estate, facilities, and external partners

Preferred:

• Experience supporting high-volume, multi-unit restaurant or retail operators
• Knowledge of restaurant construction standards, kitchen equipment, and operational requirements
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
• Experience reviewing plans, negotiating vendor pricing, and supporting due diligence activities
• Background in project management or construction tracking software
