NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a long-standing client located in the surrounding area of Las Colinas, as they seek to hire a hands-on Director of Accounting and Tax. This role will join a fantastic leadership team and hit the ground running as the organization prepares for exponential growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An active CPA, MBA is highly desired
• Seeking public accounting and industry experience w/10+ years of progressive growth within an accounting leadership role
• Highly skilled in the oversight and ownership of all general ledger functions, with an emphasis on balance sheet accounting, income statements, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
• Prior multi-company/entity experience is required to set yourself up for success
• Must have strong leadership/management experience to lead a team through complex transactions, closings, and audits
• Strong understanding of income state tax, franchise tax, deferred tax, booking accruals, and preparing schedules for tax audits
• Ability to partner with the finance team on budget vs forecasting around BS & IS
