NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing healthcare organization with locations nationwide in their search for an AP Specialist. This role is contract-to-hire and onsite in their North Dallas office.


Required:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience with a solid understanding of the AP lifecycle
  • Ability to support AP inquiries through email and phone support. Strong understanding of AP processes, including PO/Non-PO invoices and 2-way/3-way matching
  • Leverage Workday and Excel with invoice preparation and processing
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (X-Lookups, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent communication skills, friendly and cheerful disposition. 
  • High attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve transaction discrepancies
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving policies, procedures, and system transitions


Preferred:

  • Experience working in a centralized AP environment.
  • Familiarity with working within a growing organization and implementing/adopting new processes.
  • Be analytical and able to problem solve.
  • Prior multi-location healthcare experience is highly desired.
