NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a dynamic hospitality client in Miami to find a Senior Lease Accountant with expertise in ASC 842 lease accounting and NetSuite experience. This is a high-impact role that supports lease accounting, audits, and reconciliations and has visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lease accounting activity using NetSuite
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and lease footnote disclosures
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Analyze variances and trends, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA and Master’s a plus)
• 5–7+ years of accounting experience, including ASC 842 lease accounting
• NetSuite experience required
• Public accounting background preferred
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset
