NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a technology and communications company to find a Senior Accountant. An ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge and operational finance experience, along with a keen eye for detail and a drive for process improvement. This individual will play a critical role in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to support audits, acquisitions, and system enhancements.

Required:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
• 3+ years of public accounting experience and/or CPA license
• Financial reporting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookups, Macros (helpful)
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

• System implementation experience
• ASC 606 experience
• Billing experience
• Private equity industry experience
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) software or similar ERP packages
