NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a leader in live events and hospitality in Frisco, TX! Our client is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist on a contract basis. 

Responsibilities:

• Own vendor master data governance, develop and enforce compliance policies, and oversee 1099 reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Identify and implement best practices, enhance AP and Concur T&E processes, and drive efficiency, standardization, and transparency across a shared services environment.
• Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and accruals, while providing guidance, training, and issue resolution to internal stakeholders and AP staff.

Requirements: 

• 7+ years of accounts payable experience in a shared services environment 
• Deep expertise in vendor master data and 1099 reporting
• Strong experience in ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics preferred
