Requirements for this opportunity include:

• Represent clients in court and before government agencies in insurance defense matters
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Negotiate settlements for a variety of cases, including auto litigation, first- and third-party insurance claims, slip and fall, and medical malpractice
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and maintain strong case organization using case management software
• Perform administrative and case management responsibilities related to litigation practice

Qualifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 1+ year of insurance defense experience required
• Strong knowledge of Florida and Federal civil litigation procedures
• Excellent analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Daytona Beach
