Order Entry Specialist

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with our client in Irving, TX, to find an Order Entry Specialist on a contract basis.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and enter customer sales orders, update account and payment information, and manage credit card transactions to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer data and proactively monitor communication inboxes to resolve order or payment issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to meet shipping deadlines, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and clear communication across all order-related tasks.


Requirements: 

  • Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting, or equivalent experience in high-volume order entry or AR functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) with experience in ERP/order processing systems—Dynamics AX preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, and reliability with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
