NextStep Recruiting has partnered with an established insurance organization to identify a Commercial Lines Marketing Manager in the Denver, CO area. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite and two days remote, supporting middle-market commercial insurance placement and carrier strategy.
This position is ideal for an experienced commercial lines professional who understands how to take complex risks to market, build strong relationships with producers and underwriters, and negotiate competitive coverage terms.
Required:
- 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, with 8–10 years preferred
- Strong middle-market experience supporting accounts generally ranging from $50K–$500K in premium
- Experience developing submission and go-to-market strategies for commercial risks across multiple lines of coverage
- Proven ability to work directly with carriers, wholesalers, and underwriters to negotiate favorable terms
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to serve as a trusted resource to commercial producers
Preferred:
- Background in commercial insurance marketing, placement, sales, or account management
- Broad understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages
- Experience supporting producers with varying book sizes and levels of experience
- Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain one shortly after hire
- Experience with a widely used insurance agency management platform
This is an internal, market-facing role with a compensation range of approximately $100K–$125K plus a discretionary bonus. The organization is open to considering compensation flexibility for candidates with particularly strong middle-market commercial lines experience.
