NextStep Recruiting has joined hands with a unique company located in Grapevine, as they are seeking an Accounting Associate with superb customer service skills to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This amazing opportunity will work directly with the Controller and will be an integral part of the team, with several fun tasks and client-facing opportunities. 

Essential duties will be, but are not limited to:

• Process weekly payables and help with check runs (averaging 300-500 invoices per week)
• Provide support to the AR group with sales order entry, invoicing, cash applications, inventory control, and journal entries, and assist with the month-end close
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and run financial reports as needed
• Superior customer service skills are required for this role, as you will have heavy interaction with their clients/customers
• Advanced Excel is required
