NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a leader in roofing and exterior repair solutions in Duluth, GA! Our client is seeking a HR Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for all employees
• Maintain all employee records and ensure accurate data throughout HRIS platforms 
• Support HR compliance tasks, including I-9s, labor law postings, and audits 
• Assist with payroll processes 
• Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries and questions  

Requirements: 

• 2 - 4 years of experience in human resources
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms - Paylocity, Employee Navigator, or HealthEquity preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a can-do attitude
