NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading technology solutions to find an Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst. An ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset to support daily billing operations and collections activities. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in finance or accounting while contributing to accurate reporting and the timely resolution of payments.
Required:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, finance, or customer service
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Blackline)
• Experience reconciling customer accounts and resolving billing discrepancies
• Exposure to month-end close or financial reporting processes
