NextStep Recruiting is partnering exclusively with a well-established financial services client in Dallas to find a Financal Predictive Analysis Lead. This hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 remote) supports a recently formed department focused on predicting financial risk and optimizing processes before audits occur. The ideal candidate blends financial acumen with technical understanding to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance reporting, strengthen internal controls, and drive data-driven decision-making across all lines of business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead optimization and efficiency efforts across financial reporting and operational processes
  • Collaborate with business partners to improve forecasting, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Support the rollout and ongoing use of Oracle Advanced Financial Controls (training available)
  • Analyze trends and metrics to identify risk, enhance internal controls, and increase data integrity
  • Work with SQL, Power BI, and Excel reporting to support predictive financial analysis
  • Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to test, troubleshoot, and implement system improvements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, or finance systems
  • Background in banking or financial services required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills — must be comfortable interfacing with business leaders
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, and Excel reporting; ability to write code is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems preferred
