The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with at least 5 years of strong GL accounting experience
• Assist with all aspects of the financial accounting process, balance sheet accounting, and extensive general ledger reconciliations (subledgers to ledger)
• Perform monthly close process, journal entries, and cash management
• Assist with payroll-related journal entries and sales and use tax reporting
• Advanced Excel (vlookups, macros, formulas/functions) and NetSuite are required
• The automotive or insurance industry is highly preferred, along with experience working with 3rd party vendors
