NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a financial services / commercial banking organization to hire a Payments Product Manager in Dallas, TX. This role is onsite and will support the build, expansion, and long-term success of the bank’s commercial card offering.


This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for owning and scaling a commercial card program from both a product and financial perspective. The ideal candidate has experience standing up or significantly growing a commercial card portfolio, managing full program economics, and partnering across Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Sales to deliver a competitive, well-controlled solution for business clients.


Required:

  • Proven experience leading and scaling a commercial card program, including ownership of program strategy and P&L
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial card products such as T&E, Purchasing Cards, Virtual Cards, and Fleet Cards
  • Demonstrated experience managing pricing strategy, issuer/processor relationships, and operational workflows
  • Deep understanding of card economics, risk management, and compliance requirements in a regulated banking environment
  • Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship


Preferred:

  • Experience building or transitioning card program capabilities in-house (credit decisioning, servicing, revenue management)
  • Background partnering closely with Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Familiarity with issuer processors, card networks, and commercial card technology integrations
  • Experience supporting go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and client-facing implementations
  • Advanced credentials such as MBA, CTP, CPCP, or PMP/Agile certifications
