NextStep Recruiting is recruiting for an experienced Plant Controller, Cost Accounting Manager, or Inventory Accounting Manager, or Senior Cost Accountant, ready for promotion for a national manufacturing organization with a manufacturing plant in the Edison, NJ area. Candidates should have:

• A BBA in Accounting or a related field, advanced education, and/or CPA or CMA certification, a plus
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing industry environment
• Strong cost accounting, inventory accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting experience in manufacturing
• Experience with improving processes and controls
• Strong communication skills

This is an exciting role with a growing organization. This role will have some interesting projects upcoming, so our client is looking for someone who enjoys process improvement and involvement in projects. Strong annual base salary targeted in the $120k - $140k range, plus annual bonus. Strong PTO and benefits! Fantastic manager/mentor and management team. This role is either 100% onsite or hybrid in the Edison, NJ area, so commuting to Edison must be attractive. Thank you!
